All you can do is listen to the doctors as far as moving forward, and I know the timing sucked, but no one knew how serious it was. We went through multiple doctors, and the only way we could find out is (to) go in there.’’
Wow.
Hope he gets better, but this clarifies a LOT. A “bruise” never made sense for why he was always out. He’s not much better off then it seems in the long run health wise than perhaps a C.Paul potentially.

and kept it away from Eric and his Agent? Then when NOH came crawling back and demanded the two Erics….Jasen told VDN/NO/DTS…“oh by the way, Bledsoe will miss the first month or so of the season….but Gordon looks fine now, but will eventually have to surgery soon and miss a lot more time”
so once NOH finally said okay you keep Bledsoe, we take Gordon…VDN/NO/DTS said…“fine” and had a reluctant hand shake
but in their minds they were like “YAY!”

Jasen Powell would never use his powers for the good of the Nation. He exists only to screw us over. I could swear I saw him running away with a pair of scissors in-hand after Chauncey got hurt. Was his Achilles torn or cut? We will never know.

but it backfired and his “purpose screw up” lead to a blessing in disguise for the Clippers when they traded him for CP3

….too sabotage Donald Tokowitz’s (the name they still use for Sterling) organization.
With the organization’s recent success early on, he found the agency starting to question if Powell was in to"deep", forgetting where his allegiance may lie. His much lauded “BG Knee” job heard whispers of Powell being well on his way to becoming director, but Tokowitz and his agenda was hitting back harder. With the acquisitions of Butler, Billups and Paul, some alleged the BG Knee stunt was only a ploy by Powell to buy him some time. Powell sensing this acted quickly and decisively moving in on Billups. Rumor has it that powell employed compromised taped ankles technique to accomplish his latest feat.
