depends on what catagories you are weak in and also how big your league is
and they are selling high on Jeremy Lin. i like that, he’s got nowhere but down to go. he’ll kill you in turnovers, wont get you as many assists, shoots at a lower percentage. rudy gay is the main piece in this deal. solid top 30 fantasy player IMO…
by giving up CP3 your’re giving up: steals, assists (Lin’s are inflated to the max right now), ft%, fg%, turnovers
what you’re getting back: a few more boards a game, points and a few blocks.
plus when you take a 2-1 trade you may also have to drop somebody….
so the question becomes do you trade a top 6 fantasy player for a 30 something and 20 something player (for now in J.Lin)?
CP3, Lebron, and Durant are untouchable in my book fantasy wise. Your potential trade partner would have to throw in another good player for me to even consider it.
Lin’s numbers could look to take a hit when Melo returns… and Paul’s numbers probably will heat up as we near the end of the season. I got lucky and picked him up after his second big game. His performance has been great (aside from the TOs) but I got him as a steal not sure if I would have given up players for him.
As long as Lin keeps it up..
I think so. But a HELL NO in real life.

Not a good trade
Don’t know how Melo will impact Lin’s performance. CP3 is the top ranked fantasy player in most formats as he does everything but block shots.
Also depends on who you’d have to cut to make space. Rudy Gay is barely a top 50 fantasy player.

Depends if you want to win TOs or not.

Stupid idea
CP3 is MVP material! He is a transendental Player! He makes everyone else on the team better. The thought of mentioning him in a trade is stupid!
