You know, I think the whole flop-finger-pointing thing is pretty moot.
Lots of players flop, almost all players add some embellishments to legitimate contact, and every single basketball fan accuses opposing players of being floppers while making excuses for their own team.
As far as I’m concerned, flops are just risk-reward defensive moves and everyone’s just got to accept them as such. Hopefully refs will all be computers one day that can somehow decided what is and what isn’t a flop or foul with incredible accuracy.

You know, I think the whole flop-finger-pointing thing is pretty moot.
Lots of players flop, almost all players add some embellishments to legitimate contact, and every single basketball fan accuses opposing players of being floppers while making excuses for their own team.
As far as I’m concerned, flops are just risk-reward defensive moves and everyone’s just got to accept them as such. Hopefully refs will all be computers one day that can somehow decided what is and what isn’t a flop or foul with incredible accuracy.
