Missed last night's game (see our Fearless Leader's recap here). It looked like one of those games, where I would get frustratingly mad at the tv!...Enjoy the links after the jump. Hat tip to those citizens who may have already posted some of these on the fanshots...too many to name!

Blake Griffin Baseline 180 vs. Grizzlies | SportsGrid
And if you think this was Blake Griffin's only highlight in the Clippers' 98-91 win over the Grizzlies last night, then you obviously don't watch Blake Griffin very much. He also had this spin-o-rama slam, and a rebound (yes, a rebound) that was noteworthy.

Nice win last night. Ugly, but nice.

JUMBACO!!
Lawler's Law - January 27, 2012
start a jumbaco chant at staples
someone talk to daryl. he can get it going. maybe yell jumbaco when visitors shoot freethrows.
micmac36 - January 27, 2012
Laker players are beginning to resemble Laker fans
Whole lot of whining and complaining. Really annoying.
yaggiefresh - January 27, 2012
So sick of Kobe and everything about the Lakers.
Hengtime81 - January 27, 2012
For a team that kept saying, "It's just one game,"
two weeks ago they sure were celebrating “just one game” on Wednesday night. Chumps.
yaggiefresh - January 27, 2012
Exactly...
they talked so much crap saying it’s just one game, no need to make a big deal, but when they win it’s “we still run LA”. i hope the clippers are taking mental notes and use all this chatter as motivation.
Hengtime81 - January 27, 2012
HEY HEY MEO MIO MEO MIO, HEY HEY!!
ClipperBEAST - January 27, 2012
I love when DJ blocks shots/blatantly goaltends
But maybe he should worry more about boxing out and getting his rebounds in the double digit range. Except for getting into foul trouble, there’s absolutely no reason why he shouldn’t be putting up 10-12 boards a night, not the 8.4 that he has been averaging.
TinkyTime - January 27, 2012
we have the most athletic front court
until they get some smarts on them and box out we are going to keep giving away offensive rebounds. Last night was maddening.

lol exactly what I was thinking
T-rex defense hardly ever works.

we've got to make this post green!!
Lawler's Law - January 27, 2012
Wtf is he doing???
Lol what a wuss!!
ClipperBEAST - January 27, 2012
he is trying to get the ref to call a double dribble
which is stupid as Gasol clearly touched the ball before this clip meaning that Blake had a live dribble.
bestclipfan - January 28, 2012
I remember it live
Gasol immediately starts screaming for the double dribble (while watching Blake dribble past him) and I thought “What the hell, you just knocked the ball out of hands Pau. Do you know the rules?” I went back and watched it a couple times and sure enough he clearly hit the ball, so all I can figure is he knew he was beat so he made an excuse on the fly.

Did anyone see Channel 5's report on Chris Paul's house being haunted?
lovinglosangeles - January 27, 2012
Don't mind the Lakers
I just don’t like Lakers “fans.” They make the real Lakers fans look really bad.
Chris McD - January 27, 2012
I agree
and by “fans”, I think even then it’s a minority of fans, who just happen to be the most outspoken and boisterous. At least of my laker friends, I’d say 90% are fine, it’s the 10% that are completely intolerable.
osamu - January 27, 2012
True Laker fans know and recognize that the Clippers are on the rise. They do not
try to put the Clips down or look down on them. In fact, they welcome the rivalry.
lovinglosangeles - January 27, 2012
kenyon martin?
espn saying clippers are one of the 5 teams inquiring about kenyon martin. on one hand clips need a bench player that has some offensive post moves, on the other i don’t really want him on the team
micmac36 - January 27, 2012
Kenyon Martin?
Don’t want him on the team? Have you seen Solomon Jones and Brian Cook play? He’s a jerk but he would have to pass out PCP laced cookies in the locker room not to help the team over those two. And lets not even talk about Ryan Gomes. Please, Neil get someone else, anyone else in the league except, maybe Luke Walton, would be an upgrade.
ragman - January 27, 2012
yeah
i know the need for a post scorer, but i’d rather use the money on wilson chandler as a swing defender than get kenyon martin… i just know kmart will do something crazy
micmac36 - January 27, 2012
no way we get wilson chandler, he's still a RFA so Denver would easily match the most we could offer.
JR Smith is a better bet for the Clips. Him and Mo would be the most awesome 2nd unit back court, to go with our already awesome 1st unit. Plus JR is 6’6" and can back-up Caron too.
chrisd - January 27, 2012
We aren't getting Wilson Chandler.
If we can get Martin and Smith in the offseason (I don’t know how possible that is) and we retain Billups, my God will our team be scary. For the first time, I think we have a chance of landing a free agent! The Heat will merely try to low ball him and hope that they can get on the bandwaggon. The Spurs aren’t the most attractive team, but it may make sense for him if Duncan really does retire, starting role? I think so. Hawks wouldn’t be a great fit for him; especially because they would get him late and Horford will most likely be in playing shape eventually… So he will have to fight for minutes. Knicks are just a trainwreck, and I don’t expect him to change much, especially when Amare will gobble up minutes. I think the Clippers and Knicks are frontrunners for Kenyon, hopefully Billups can convince his old buddies to join, and then hopefully his buddies can convince Billups to resign :). As farfetched as it is, Billups/Smith/Martin on the 2nd team is frightening! From there, we can move Mo to the 2 spot or we look for a REAL SG or a defensive 3 (then Butler moves to SG and we get size in both positions).
SurfinQ00 - January 27, 2012
Kaman sent home by the Hornets
Hell why not see if we can get Kaman back. Make the Hornets eat the majority of his contract.
ClipperOptik - January 27, 2012
Clips have no contracts to offer back
unless the Hornets want Mo and Foye.
I think Kaman to the Hawks for Pachulia (spelling?) and Hinrich and a 1st round pick makes the most sense.
ClipperChuck - January 27, 2012
CC, Do you really think Kaman is that valuable?
PV Mike - January 27, 2012
I think he could be to the right team
Zaza has 2 years left on his deal so the Hawks so some guaranteed cash, Hinrich has played 1 game (not sure what his injury is). Their pick doesn’t figures to be in the 20s this year.
Joe Johnson – SG
Jeff Teague – PG
Chris Kaman – C
Al Horford – PF
Josh Smith – SF
Bench – Marvin Williams, Tracy McGrady, Willie Green
I actually like Zaza as a backup big, maybe the Clips can weasel their way into the trade and offer Foye for him.
ClipperChuck - January 28, 2012
NOH, won't take Zaza - deal breaker
banandy - January 27, 2012
The clippers couldn't trade for him if they wanted to
a player can’t be traded back to a team that just traded him. Only possible way he could end up here is if he was bought out and came here as a free agent, which won’t happen.

Interesting how CP3 praises Jasen Powell
PV Mike - January 28, 2012
How did Jasen Powell became so hated by Clippernation?
just because of all the injuries? Or is it based on something more substantial?
