He’s one of the better finishing guards on the team when he drives, but he never ever drives. He’s choosing to take those bad shots, and therefore, I bring on the haterade…
He’s not a high percentage guy. But someone needs to shoot the ball every posession, and when Evans Gomes, etc are on the floor also, there’s not a lot of options.
I’d rather have Foye taking a bail out jumper than Gomes or any of the other bench guys. Even though he shoots a crappy percentage, when he’s taking bail out shots he’s usually shooting that same crappy percentage. He seems unphased by D (and unphased by being wide open haha)… so in that way, you know what you’re getting with Foye every time. But if he’s with the starters, he needs to be smart enough to defer to the efficient players.
Of all people, these two guys talking about how Dwight should wait till this summer, ask Adidas for a huge $ deal like the one D-Rose got, and then sign for midlevel with Clips.

Okay I'll definitely concede that
I’d rather have Foye taking a bail out jumper than Gomes or any of the other bench guys. Even though he shoots a crappy percentage, when he’s taking bail out shots he’s usually shooting that same crappy percentage. He seems unphased by D (and unphased by being wide open haha)… so in that way, you know what you’re getting with Foye every time. But if he’s with the starters, he needs to be smart enough to defer to the efficient players.
